Kade is a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois with training and experience in patrol work, narcotics detection, tracking, and apprehension. He is a highly driven working dog with exceptional energy, strong hunt instincts, and the determination expected from a high-quality dual-purpose K-9.
Kade has demonstrated proficiency in narcotics detection and tracking and possesses the courage and drive necessary for apprehension work. He thrives when given a structured environment, consistent training, and regular opportunities to work. Kade is best suited for a law enforcement agency, experienced working dog handler, or professional trainer familiar with high-drive Belgian Malinois.
Disclosure: Kade has previously bitten his handler during his service. These incidents were not the result of aggression toward people but were attributed to his extremely high drive, intensity, and overstimulation in certain working situations. As a result, Kade requires a confident, experienced handler who understands working dog behavior and can provide clear leadership, consistent training, and sufficient outlets for his energy and drive.
Kade is not recommended for a novice handler, pet home, or low-activity environment. He performs best when actively engaged in work and training on a regular basis. With the right handler and structure, Kade has the potential to be a valuable asset as a working dog and has many productive years ahead of him.
