Training Details |
5 year old currently certified through the U.S.P.C.A. as a dual purpose police dog (PD1). Narcotics detection dog, imprinting on heroin, methamphetamine, crack, marijuana, and cocaine. This guy loves hunting man and has several street finds and apprehensions. He is slower to bond however, once he does, he will do anything for you. He is social and good with kids with proper introductions.
Must be the only dog because he can be dog aggressive. He is OK with small dogs. He retired early and currently lives with his handler because their agency had a younger Malinois arrive and no handler to pair him with due to department personnel changes. He does not get along with the new police dog in the house and his handler is forced to let him go.
He still has working years left in him and would be a great addition to an agency that does not have a huge K-9 budget. He is fully trained in narcotics and patrol work to include; building search, area search, evidence recovery, handler protection, tracking, and apprehension.
If not for working purposes, he would make a good addition to any home looking for a protection dog or someone who can give him a well earned retirement. |
