Axxe is a striking 3-year-old male Belgian Malinois with incredible energy, focus, and drive. He's an owner surrender and has had extensive experience in a home with children, female dogs, and male dogs. He’s a powerful, eager-to-work dog who thrives when given a task and consistent structure.
Because of his extremely high drive, Axxe would be best suited for an experienced working or sport dog handler—someone who understands how to channel his intensity into productive work and engagement.
He has been professionally trained in narcotics detection (cocaine, heroin, meth, fentanyl) and has successfully worked BSD walls, boxes, vehicles, bags, and open areas. Axxe is highly motivated by both food and toys, and his obedience includes heel, sit, come, place, and stay.
For those looking to put his skills to professional use, Axxe will be included at no cost with the purchase of a CA P.O.S.T. Detection Course to certify him for law enforcement or private sector detection work.
