Training Details |
Started at 12 weeks with obedience and off leash following obedience.
At 6 months he started showing great interest in doing bite work and had a wonderful prey drive
He has developed into a wonderful, obedient , K-9 with tons of drive and a nice bite to boot.
He targets well. He loves to work.
He is very serious when working, with total focus.

NOTE: i HAVE HIM LISTED AS A COMPANION DOG. WITH THAT BEING SAID, HE NEEDS TO GO TO SOMEONE THAT HAS NO SMALL DOGS THAT CAN GAIN ACCESS TO HIS AREA. EITHER JUST ADULTS NEEDING SECURITY OR A SINGLE PERSON NEEDING A WATCHFUL COMPANION with NO OTHER PETS!. He is very serious when it comes to protection and I wouldn't let him go to anyone that has small children or small pets.
Tank was born with a defective tail, we decided to have it docked at 7 months of age. It does not affect his balance nor his drive.
However he does not like it to be touched.
He has never shown handler aggression.
However he can become timid if scolded or pushed too fast.
He wants to please.
He would make someone a wonderful personal protection dog but he would need to be away from small dogs.
He seems to like children with supervision but would be wary when he is on duty. He is very focused when working and does not tolerate other dogs very well in his vicinity.
All he needs is some refresher training and he would be ready to go.
