Sawyer is one of 2 black males I kept back from a litter. Both are available. I had been hoping for a female but got 3 boys instead. Liked them so much, I kept them too long. These dogs are not dogs you kennel and rotate; they are full-time partners. Their grandsire (CZ and East German) was the same way- they can make life a bit difficult if they don't feel they are getting their fair share. When they get it, they are literally the easiest working lines ever.
Very very kind with children, 100% stable, great with other animals from Chihuahuas to horses, territorial, will be good deterrent as-is, or train him up for more protection. His grandsire was my first GSD back in 2002, and his grand-dam was my foundation female. Sire is Madox von der Emsaue. Sawyer is crate-trained, housebroken, loves to go anywhere and everywhere with his people, rides in the car like a pro, no matter how long the trip, is trustworthy alone in the house, and an all-around saint, except for one bad habit...he is yappy if left alone in the yard. He wants to be with you 24/7. SUPER companion and deterrent for the right person. Slow to mature, typical of bloodlines, he is easy to handle now, but that may change with maturity. For this reason alone, I recommend a handler with some prior experience.
Price is just over puppy price, since he has not been started for IGP, and I would really prefer a family for him. Kennel life is not for him.
