Training Details |
Marine was trained for narcotics detection and was working with a security company. He was also started on bite work originally but the company chose not to continue that training for liability purposes. Marine was last certified in 2012 when his handler left for deployment. Since then, he has been a pet and his handler has not come back to work for the company. Unfortunately, we are not experienced enough in this area to continue his training and use him for work. We are hoping to sell him to a trainer who can get him working again. |

He is a great dog, with an amazing toy drive. Because of his energy level, we feel it is unfair to keep him as a pet, as he loves to work. He needs an experienced handler as his breed is very energetic and dominating. Overall, he is a wonderful dog and would work perfectly and happily for the right handler.
