Larocque (pronounced 'la-rock') is a German showline that loves (and NEEDS) to work. He has his BH, AD, and was being trained towards his Schutzhund 1 title until the economy took its toll and we could no longer afford to pay the training director.
He has his SG show rating through the WDA, but is slightly oversized by a few centimeters, so will likely, at most, remain SG or possibly V in the show ring (under the right judge) once he gets his SchH1. |

Larocque is both AKC and USA registered, and would make a nice Schutzhund dog, even for an inexperienced handler.
His obedience is not as flashy as most working line dogs, but he LOVES bitework, and is a good tracker.
He would also be a nice pet for an active family.
He is good in the house, is crate trained and housebroken, and has a friendly temperament towards people of all ages. He gets along with most other dogs (other males can be iffy, but he does not go looking for a fight), and he even tolerates puppies quite well. |
