1yo Male Black lab, intact, current on all preventions and vaccines, OFA prelims done for hips and elbows good/normal, no papers. He’s an extremely high energy dog that needs a job, he has nice food/ball/hunt drive, socially neutral however he can be fairly aloof with people he doesn’t know when they try to interact with him, very good with other dogs of all sizes, environmentally he’s good, the negative I’ve seen environmentally is he can be startled by some noises (which is shown in one of the videos) however he will work through it even out of drive, and he’s pretty aloof with people he doesn’t know until he warms up, otherwise surfaces, rooms, etc I’ve seen no problems with him. He’s crate trained, has some basic obedience and a recall, ecollar conditioned.
I’ve posted a bunch of videos in here so please watch them all if interested.
He must go to a home that will give him a job and had ample time for him.
He would excel in detection or some sort of sport/hunting etc. He would be a nice candidate for a single purpose dog for a smaller department.
I will not consider any homes that don’t have a job for him and he is not a candidate for a service dog as he’s far too drivey for that.
The only reason I’m placing him is I got him for a pet/demo dog and he truly needs far more then that to keep him happy / be fair to him and I just do not have the time at this moment in my life.
