Training Details |
Hennessy is a 2 year old, HIGH DRIVE, intact, APBT. He needs to go to a working or sport home where he will be worked with and his drives cultivated. He is tattooed, intact, up to date on vac. and on heart worm preventative.
I got him to use as a competition obedience dog. Due to unforeseen circumstances, his training has fallen to the wayside. With a little work he could be top-notch.
He has extreme drive and his focus is there.
He knows commands in German, not so well in English.
With a handler who understands the drives of an APBT, he could excel in Schutzhund or other dog sports.
With some more work he would be great as a competition obedience dog.
Hennessy would also make a great dock jumping dog.
I strongly believe that he has what it takes to be an amazing catch dog for hog dogging. His bite is hard and full and usually goes for the ear. He is used to running 8 miles alongside the bike with me every other day, and can stay on the spring pole for nearly 20 mins, so he is in very good shape.
He was bottle raised and has been around/loves other dogs, cats, and kids.
Hennessy deserves more time with people, not time out in a kennel or out on a chain spot, so he is looking for a new master or family.
