Training Details |
Drago is a finished dual purpose dog. He has nice obedience on or off-lead and knows hand commands for sit, down, stand, stay, and come. He has flashy focused attention while heeling and has been conditioned to an e-collar. He is environmentally sound with absolutely no issues with flooring, heights, dark or tight spaces, or loud noises. He is neutral to gunfire and can be carried nicely. His tracking is precise and his recognition to narcotic odor is fantastic. He has been imprinted on Marijuana, Crack, Heroin, Methamphetamine, and Cocaine and has a passive focused stare alert. Drago has been trained in article search/evidence recovery and has a passive alert on articles.
His bite work is finished. Drago has already proven himself on the street and has been working as a dual purpose police dog for the past year and a half. He came back to us after his handler resigned from his position. He is NOT suitable for an inexperienced handler, However, Drago would do extremely well with a veteran handler who has experience with high drive Malinois. Drago is a serious and hard dog. He has a very nice civil side to him and is accepting of people over time. Introductions would need to take time. If you are looking for a dog that can give the public a warm fuzzy feeling inside that makes the butterflies flutter, this is not the dog for you! On the other hand, if you are looking for an ass kicker of a dog that will leave criminals with a lasting impression and want to produce results on the street, this is without a doubt the dog for you! He is all business. Drago is currently trained in accordance with U.S.P.C.A. Certification Standards.
If my current partner was ready to retire and I needed a replacement, I would work this dog in a second! He is ready to get back on the street.
