Training Details |
Cooper was purchased as a puppy. He was trained as a Single Purpose Narcotic Detection K9 by Tony Piatt of Pawaday Inn and Suites located in Tilton, IL.
Cooper was trained for Vehicle, building, Article, and Open Area Searches using Cannabis, Cocaine, Meth, and Heroin.
Cooper was Illinois Police Working Dog Certified in 2010 and 2011. Cooper was Also NAPWDA Certified in 2010 and 2011. Cooper was certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board in 2012 and 2013 which is current until summer of 2014.
Average continuing training is approximately 280 hours annually. |

Cooper was purchased as a puppy. I am the single owner and Handler of Cooper. Cooper has an amazing play drive and is ready to work 24 hours a day. Cooper works in a smaller town in East Central Illinois. I am a part-time police officer and we work together mainly during nights and weekends. Cooper has an very high drive and energy that needs to be used in a full-time department setting.
