Beau is a beautiful black neutered male German Shepherd who's previous family moved out of state and some friends graciously adopted him to give him a good and loving home. However his drives have proven to be just too much energy for their household with a new baby on the way and two toddlers already in the home, he is great with the kids but is just too much energy for their home. They are looking to find him an active home where he would preferably be the only dog as he has exhibited some aggression issues with other dogs that have been diagnosed by a professional trainer as mild and easily fixed. We only have information on the dogs sire, this dog was known to have had AKC papers that are now lost and the only information the current owner has is the sires name and Beau's date of birth.
If you could find it in your heart to give Beau his forever home I think you would be greatly rewarded with much loyalty and affection from him. Please read his "bio" below as sent to me by his current owner. I have no part in this dog, I have only offered to help them to rehome him as I am familiar with the resources available to me to advertise him to the right home, I am a breeder in their local are that they contacted thinking I may have been his original breeder and I offered to help them out because every GSD deserves the right home.
"Beau's" Bio

DOB: 9/28/2008
Raised around small children, currently lives with a 4 yr old and 2 yr old, and is very tolerant of people and especially children. Does not like other dogs. Has had basic training. House broken. Knows commands:"Go to your bed, sit, down, go away, place, release (ball), leave it." Sleeps in a 3'x4' small hallway with a baby gate blocking the entrance at night and when we leave the house, so he would crate train very easily. Happily stays in his 'crate' without whining, or jumping over the gate. Very eager to please, high prey drive, loves playing fetch. Has been working with a trainer for dog aggression. Trainer says his case is minor, and can be 'fixed' in a few sessions, or with the right handler. Beau would excel in any type of competitive canine sport.
