Barand (pronounced similarly to Barron) is an intact male and made 5 years old in September. This is a serious personal protection dog. He is a loaded weapon and will only be sold to an experienced handler.
He was imported at 3 years old from Holland and has a KNPV title. His score was 406. Dogs imported into the the US for Police Departments often come without pedigrees. So he does not have papers.
Barand is confident and environmentally sound. He is extremely crate aggressive but relatively mild tempered in a run. He's an affectionate and social dog with his people. Generally he's okay around strangers so long as they're introduced properly and are mindful. However, he will growl or bite (depending on the the situation) anyone who he perceives as acting in threatening manner such as bending over him, harsh eye contact, or crowding him. Understand, he is not some wild manic.. he is trained to the T, very controllable and extremely obedient. Barand will not fail you when it comes to the protection of your family, your property and yourself.
He has done well with puppies, most other dogs and dog-savy cats. He is potty trained, loves to swim, tolerates baths, easy to muzzle and clean in the kennel/run. . Hips have been x-rayed and appear good by the vet - they have not been OFA certified. We are located in New Orleans Louisiana. Price is $3,000.
